Michael Sewards
Director
Michael joined the company in 1994 after four years at Esanda Finance Corporation. His extensive marketing skills and intimate knowledge of the transport and forestry industries have enabled Heritage to obtain a dominant position within these fields, along with creating new opportunities for the industry as a whole.
Ultimately what we do is help people achieve their goals. We want to help our clients get there by saying, “That’s not a ridiculous goal. Why couldn’t you do that? Why shouldn’t you do that?” We’re the people you go to if you want to find out how you can achieve that big dream.
We find a way to convince people who’ve said no to turn around and say yes. That’s our job on behalf of our clients: we make things happen.

Adam Begg
Director
Adam joined Heritage in 2000 from the Bank of Western Australia where he was Victorian Agribusiness Manager. Prior to this, Adam was Rural Finance Manager and then Business Banking Manager at National Australia Bank. Adam’s intensive Banking & Finance background, along with his excellent track record, has proved a major asset to the Heritage business and its clients.
Trust is the most important element of what we do. When a customer meets you of course they should like you. But to achieve great business results together you need more – you need an absolute trust. And that’s what we’re about at Heritage.
When you really give yourself to a customer and business like we do, you commit wholeheartedly and you want your customer to do the same. We work exceptionally hard on behalf of our clients and only ask them to take that journey of trust with us.
Rupert Legh
Director
The former owner of Pacific Royal Finance (PRF), Rupert has over 30 years experience in the finance industry. Beginning with the publicly-listed Associated Midland Corporation in 1971, he has worked in finance since then, including establishing PRF in 1990 and building it toward its sale to Terrain Australia in 2001.
It’s our sense of discipline that sets Heritage apart. When I say I’ll call a customer back, I do. When I say I’ll fax someone today, I do. We believe in discipline at Heritage; discipline and service and 100% commitment to our clients.
The way we think is: 98% of people would do this. So why don’t we be the other 2%? Why don’t we do something a bit different?
